Architectural Review
The master association governs single-family home architectural changes. Each sub-association has their own respective requirements. Regardless of which association governs your architectural change process, approval is required for any additions, alterations, repairs, changes or other work that in any way alters the exterior appearance of any part of a lot or residential unit. The governing document for the Architectural Review process is the Architectural Control Policy. You should review this carefully before submitting any request for change.
To obtain approval for any architectural change to a single-family home you should submit an Architectural Change Request (ACR) form. This form can be submitted by email as a completed pdf form (with appropriate attachments), or submitted in person to the HOA Office during normal business hours. If your project involves the walls between your property and your neighbors, you also need to complete the Fencing Approval form.
The Architectural Review Committee meets to review submittals on the first and third Tuesday of each month during the winter season, and on the first Tuesday only during the summer months . All submittals are due by noon on the Thursday prior to the Tuesday meeting. No approvals or denials will be made outside of the regularly scheduled meeting. Any submittals received after the deadline will be placed on the agenda for the following meeting. All forms need to be signed by the owner of the home. Forms should contain as much detail as possible, including photos, brochures, pamphlets and drawings.
Home painting is a change that requires approval, but the Community Manager can generally approve those requests if you are painting your home an approved color (or colors). Approval is required even if you plan to paint your house the same color.
If you have any questions, or are unsure of any part of these requirements you are encouraged to contact the Community Manager first. You should never start any work without Architectural Review Committee approval.
