Arts & Crafts Amenities
There are four facilities dedicated to Arts & Crafts for Sunland Springs Village residents. Each of these facilities is managed by one or more clubs or groups and they provide classes, safety monitoring and social opportunities. Check the links provided within the amenity description
Lapidary & Stained Glass
Located in the Springwood Complex, this creative studio provides dedicated workspace and equipment for lapidary, silversmithing, stained glass, and related artistic projects. Residents can explore new hobbies, refine their skills, and enjoy a welcoming creative environment. Hours are weekdays and weekends from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM when monitors are available. Pottery & Glass Fusion
The pottery and glass fusion studio at the Springwood Complex features worktables, pottery equipment, and kilns for a variety of artistic pursuits. Whether creating ceramics, fused glass pieces, or decorative artwork, residents have access to a well-equipped creative space. Hours are weekdays and weekends from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM when monitors are available. For information on programs see the Pottery and Glass Fusion club.
Textile Arts
The Textile Arts Center offers spacious work areas and specialized equipment for sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, needlepoint, beading, and other fiber arts. Supported by the active Textile Arts Club, the center is a popular gathering place for creativity and collaboration. Woodshop
The community woodshop features a dedicated assembly room with large workbenches and a fully equipped woodworking shop. Residents can enjoy woodworking projects in a safe, organized environment supported by the Woodshop Club. Winter hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with summer hours from 8:00 AM to noon. For more information see the Woodshop Club.
