Sunland Springs Village Dog Park Rules

Owner Rules
  1. Use of the park shall be at your own risk, including, but not limited to the risk of being bitten, being knocked down, tripping, etc. Leave all food, treats at home. Bring special toys at your own risk.
  2. No dog is to be left unattended by its owner.
  3. Dog owners are legally responsible for their dog/s and any injuries caused by their dog/s. Per Mesa City ordinance, Mesa PD (480) 644-2211 must be contacted immediately if a dog bite occurs causing bleeding/serious injury to a person.
  4. Owners are limited to bringing no more than 2 dogs per visit to the dog park.
  5. No one under the age of 16 will be permitted to bring/supervise a dog in the park.
  6. Children in the dog park must be accompanied by an adult SSV resident.
  7. Owners must clean up after their dog/s and properly dispose of waste in containers provided.
  8. Owners must carry a leash at all times. Dogs must be leashed before entering and prior to leaving the dog park. All dogs must wear a collar.
 
Dog Rules
  1. All dogs must be currently licensed, inoculated, and healthy. Every dog must display its license or registration tag.
  2. No female dogs in heat or dogs with fresh wounds.
  3. Any dog biting a person or another dog and breaking the skin will lose dog park privileges.
  4. Owner may follow the appeals process to regain dog park privileges.
  5. Complaints may be filed using the SSV Dog Park Complaint Form available at the Activities Office. A copy of the SSV Complaint and Appeals Procedure may be obtained at the Activities Office.
  6. If a dog has been banned from the dog park, and the owner takes it back, without following the appeals process, a fine will be levied, that fine doubling with every subsequent infraction.
